Yashika’s POV
After I boarded the plane, everything around me was sus; it felt off. I’ve travelled many times in business class, and trust me, every time it’s different, like today, but today the whole class cabin was empty. as I had booked the whole business class.
There are one or two hostesses that are always roaming around me, kept circling me, but I was ignoring them since it was ignored. It was a flight of 2 hours.
As soon as the second I landed in Delhi, the polluted air around the atmosphere hit me. Delhi’s air punched me in the lungs. It’s really polluted. The Government. Polluted. Godforsaken. I had already booked the cab before landing. The moment I stepped outside the airport, a cab was waiting for me, a cab waiting before I even cleared immigration.
The view outside of the car was none better; outside wasn’t any better. The continuous sounds of horns, and the faded cloud above us were the peace I could see Just horns screaming and a sky the color of ash. That was Delhi’s version of peace.
The car stopped in front of the Diamond Hotel. and after taking my luggage out of the cab dumping my luggage, I checked in. Finally, I step into my suite. I was just about to sit peacefully, about to breathe, when a message came in and lit up my phone. It has to be her. I know now.
Flashback
”Hello, babygirl," said the voice from the other side of the call. The voice, a voice, dripped with affection and something else, too, darker.
‘Oh, so it’s you, sister.’
“You little brat, you haven’t called me in a month, not even once, and now you somehow remember that you have a sister? It’s me who has reached out to you.’
‘I am so sorry, Dii. Ami eto byasto chhilam je tomake call korte bhule gechhilam.’
(I was so busy that I forgot to call you.)
‘Thik achhe, tumi toh sobsomoy byasto thako. Ar jai hok, tumi kobe amader sathe dekha korte aschho? It’s been a long time.’
(It’s okay. I know you are always busy. And anyway, when are you coming to meet us?)
'I know, but I am going to Delhi; something really urgent came up there, and I need to go, but as soon as I get time, I’ll be there.’
“I understand, but this time you will have to have to come.”
‘Okay, I’ll call you back. I am getting on the plane now.’ I hung up the phone as I concluded the conversation.

It has to be her. I opened my messages. Huh, wtfff. Huh. WTF.
: 8256xxxxxx- Like the suite? Malyshka.
So, I guess someone is playing. I looked around the suite this time because I wasn’t interested in it until some asshole walked in and finally looked at the suite, really looked. This was what the person he was talking about. My eyes moved to and snapped to the center of the bed, where two toy swans were in kissing position, locked in a kiss. There were a lot of essential oils lining the table. And on the table beside the bed, the table chocolate was kept perfectly placed. So I guess this is called having a stalker.
: Stalker- Enjoy this time alone. Next time I’ll be there, and I'm sorry to leave you alone, darling.
What shit the hell is this? Should I tell her or not? For now, I should change my suite.
Author’s POV
Yashika thought she would change her suite, but what she didn’t know was that there was someone who already knew she would do that. So He had made sure that she wouldn’t be able to change because apparently all the other rooms in Diamond were booked, or should we say that’s what the manager was told to say? Every other room in Diamond was “booked.” Or so the manager was told to say.
The least they could offer her was a bed, as they could change it, so after requesting it for a long time, they changed her bed to a new bed. After an hour of fighting, they changed it.
After checking emails, Yashika drifted off and crashed into sleep.
When her eyes opened, she realized it was 4 in the evening. She quickly changed into and threw on formals, and after getting ready, she slid into the car sent by Aditi.
The car stopped in front of the company that Yashika hadn’t seen in a month. ADITYA AND CO. That's what was written on the company nameplate. Just as she stepped inside, she was greeted by many employees, and her junior employees swarmed her. She headed towards Aditi's cabin, and then they went straight to the boardroom where other board members were waiting for them. Discussing the matter.
Unknown Location-
There was a barren land; on the very land itself, there was a palace, barren land. A palace. Inside, there was a room with the walls' grey color besmeared with color and smeared with something darker. A man clothed in all black, a cigarette stuffed in his mouth between his lips. After some seconds a moment, he threw flicked the cigar cigarette at the side, and he said—
“Dym sigarety prosto prakh po sravneniyu s yeyo litsezreniyem.”
(The smoke of a cigarette is just ash compared to seeing her.)
